"The staff is friendly, helpful, and personable. I felt like our concerns were heard, procedures explained in a way we could understand. Doctor Quickert's no-nonsense approach was refreshing after having not-so-great treatment from others. We felt instantly comfortable and informed after our very first visit."

Venous Stenting
Overview
Most people are familiar with coronary stents placed in the arteries of the heart to improve blood flow. Venous stents function in the same way. Venous stents are metal mesh tubes that expand against blocked or narrowed vein walls. They act as a scaffold to keep veins open. Balloon dilation and stenting is a safe and effective treatment for chronic benign obstruction of the iliac vein.
Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) occurs in various forms that damage the arteries, which deliver blood from the heart throughout the body. The most common types of this include blood clots or calcium that block blood flow and prevent oxygen from reaching tissue. This can cause pain, sores, or even dead tissue that can lead to strokes and heart attacks.
A physician can perform a physical exam to determine whether a patient has PAD, including measuring blood pressure or performing ultrasound or MRI. An Interventional Radiologist is a board-certified physician who delivers minimally invasive treatments with less risk, less pain, and less recovery time than traditional surgery to treat Peripheral Arterial Disease.
Those treatments include:
- Angioplasty (balloon)
- Compression Therapy
- IVC (Intra Vena Cava) filter placement/removal
- Port / Central Line / PICC Line placement/removal
